Guided tours

The Black Friary situated in the Anglo-Norman town of Trim, County Meath, Ireland has been under excavation since 2010. The friary was in use from the late 13th to the mid 16th centuries. Archaeologists have been uncovering the remains of this prestigous dominican friary, exploring the buildings, the moanstic gardens and the people who were buried there.

Guided Tours of the excavations at the Medieval Monastic Site are available every Wednesday Afternoon in June, July and August. Artefacts found in the past 15 years of excavations, will also be on display.
