Views on Norman Heritage

What if your gaze told the story of the Normans?
The Alliance Française of Jersey and The House of Normandy and the Manche are launching a major participatory project to create and exhibit photographs across several territories marked by the Norman epic: from Normandy to the United Kingdom, passing through the Channel Islands, Southern Italy, and Scandinavia.

Amateur or professional photographers are invited to capture the visible or symbolic traces of this unique heritage. Each image will be accompanied by a personal text, allowing each photographer to share their perspective and recount the link between their subject and Norman history.

An exhibition will be created from a selection of thirty photographs and will be visible, in 2027, in several partner cities across Europe.
