For two days, several medieval camps take place in the village, allowing visitors to discover different aspects of life in the Middle Ages. Among the present troops are notably the Companions of Hastings, Recreation for All, the Medieval Company of Saint-Ouen, the Camp Dar Dhar Abénaky, as well as a bearded company, a discipline inspired by historical medieval martial arts. Other reenactors complete this historical immersion. The town center comes alive with the rhythm of Viking troops and medieval musicians. Demonstrations, activities, and shows punctuate the weekend, notably with the participation of La Scie qui chante, which performs a repertoire inspired by period songs, along with several musical ensembles. A medieval market brings together numerous exhibitors scattered throughout the village streets, offering a wide overview of craftsmanship and skills inspired by the Middle Ages. On Saturday evening, the celebrations continue with a musical fireworks display, accompanied by a historical evocation and a light show on the south façade of the collegiate from 11 PM. Food is provided throughout the event by local artisans and producers near Lieutenant-Rémondy Square. A medieval meal, available by reservation, is also served on Saturday evening and Sunday noon under a marquee at Bleckede Square. The medieval camps are set up in the Thomas-Pesquet Park, Republic Square, as well as in the Presbytery Park, while the market exhibitors occupy the entire village, transformed for the occasion into a genuine medieval city.
