To mark Millenium, Normandy will join forces with 15 European partner regions across 8 countries to celebrate the thousandth anniversary of the birth of William the Conqueror.
This exceptional cultural, tourism and economic event aims to raise Normandy’s profile across Europe and beyond.
Local businesses can become part of this collective endeavour and support Millenium by becoming patrons.

How to join the Club Millenium
Joining the Club Millenium is as simple as the idea behind it.
Businesses wishing to become patrons complete a donation pledge form. Payment will be requested during autumn 2026. Once members, they will receive invitations to the key events.
Would you like to become a patron?
Every local business can support Millenium by becoming a patron in one of two ways:
- Collective giving, by joining the Club Millenium with a donation of €1,000, to support the event as a whole and receive invitations to key events.
- Project-specific giving, by allocating its donation to a particular project and receiving benefits specific to that project.

What are the tax benefits?
Philanthropic support can take several forms:
- Financial donations
- Donations of technical resources
- Skills-based volunteering
Under Article 238 bis of the French General Tax Code (CGI):
- Corporate income tax reduction
- 60% tax reduction on donations up to €2 million.
- 40% tax reduction above €2 million.
Applicable limit
The amount of donations is capped at 0.5% of turnover excluding VAT.
