Join professional archaeologists and enjoy a hands-on experience where young enthusiasts can dig for treasure from the Viking and Norman world within the spectacular surroundings of Kells Priory. Lean from the experts about archaeological methods, excavate an early medieval house and discover how to record your treasure. Try on some armour, spend time at the finds table and as a special add on learn all about the methods of bread making in Norman times. Tour the wonderful site of Kells Priory and enjoy some outdoor games.
