Millenium and Heritage Days Invited to Châteauneuf-sur-Epte

For the Heritage Days 2027, the association Héritage Historique is exhibiting the monumental work The Archers of Vaudreuil created for Millenium within the grounds of the medieval castle Châteauneuf-sur-Epte, founded in the 11th century by Guillaume Le Roux.

Two days of exhibition and open doors allow the public to discover this exceptional site and the work created with the help of young artists from the association L’Outil en Main – Saint‑Cyr‑le‑Vaudreuil.

This painting pays tribute to the crucial role of the archers of Vaudreuil, companions of William the Conqueror during the Battle of Hastings. The artistic work is done with the utmost respect for history and this event.

As an artist committed to transmission, Myriam Zouaghi‑Maulet has been developing workshops and artistic projects in schools for over 15 years.
