Knitting, Crochet, Wool, Lace, Weaving Festival

Meeting between artisans, wool producers, and enthusiasts of textile arts. This day highlights the producers of Norman wools and showcases the skills related to wool and thread.

Workshops, demonstrations, and exchanges characterize the event around techniques practiced since the Middle Ages: carding, combing, spinning, weaving, and natural dyeing using local plants.

The various lace traditions, notably those of Villedieu-les-Poêles, Bayeux, and Alençon, are also honored, alongside the making of ribbons, tapestries, and other crafts related to the textile world.
