Hiking

This 12 km hike, as rustic as can be, will take us through the villages of Creully, Villiers-le-Sec, and Saint Gabriel-Brécy. We will first discover the courtyard of the Creully castle, which was partially built in the Middle Ages and one of its towers served as a relay station for BBC war reporters in June 1944. After bypassing the Creully castle, small sunken paths will lead us to Villiers-le-Sec, where the church and the manor farm nearby are worth a detour. After a well-deserved break, we will continue towards Saint-Gabriel-Brécy and its superb priory founded in 1058, which depended on the abbey of Fécamp, before returning to Creully.
