National Heritage Week 2027 
Celebrating Ireland’s cultural, built and natural heritage

Taking place over ten days in August each year, National Heritage Week is part of European Heritage Days. It brings together communities, families, organisations, cultural institutions, academics and enthusiasts, to build awareness about the value of heritage and support its conservation. 

In 2027, National Heritage Week will have a sub-theme of Exploring Ireland's Norman Heritage - with a national award for the best project on a Norman heritage theme.
