New Ross Piano Festival

The New Ross Piano Festival is the longest-running festival in New Ross, held each year in late September. It celebrates classical music and showcases internationally renowned pianists in a welcoming and inspiring setting.

The festival presents a rich and varied programme, including solo recitals, duet performances and chamber music concerts spanning a wide range of styles. Audiences also enjoy masterclasses and the popular Young Pianists Concert, highlighting emerging talent.

As part of the 2027 Year of the Normans, concerts take place in St Mary’s Church, a historic site with Norman origins, adding a unique sense of place to the experience. The festival also features the Ros Tapestry Suite, an original collection of 15 piano pieces performed during this special edition.

With its vibrant mix of performances, learning opportunities and artistic collaboration, the festival offers something to delight audiences of all ages.
