NORMANITAS  – Dublin Festival of History 2027
Anglo-Norman Dublin Conference 

Dublin City Council and Trinity College Dublin present a free two-day conference, NORMANITAS, as part of the Dublin Festival of History 2027. The programme explores the impact of the Normans from a uniquely Dublin perspective.

Coordinated by Sean Duffy, Professor of Medieval History and Trinity College Dublin, the conference brings together academics, cultural practitioners, heritage professionals, students, and members of the public with an interest in medieval and Dublin history. The event highlights new research and perspectives on the Norman legacy in the city.

The conference welcomes between 300 and 500 participants over two days, creating a dynamic and engaging forum for discussion and exchange.
