County Roscommon presents a publication dedicated to its Norman heritage: an illustrated booklet accompanied by a digital story map highlighting the Norman legacy across the region.
Researched by archaeologists Dr. Kieran O’Conor and Dr. Daniel Curley, the project explores Norman activity in County Roscommon and Key historical sites associated with this period. 

The booklet will also feature conjectural reconstruction drawings by Dr. Daniel Tietzsch Tyler, showcasing two Motte & Bailey sites in the county.

Printed copies of the booklet will be distributed through the County Library Service.
