The festival takes place at the Château-Museum of Dieppe, an iconic site that overlooks the town and the coast. This imposing 15th-century fortress, marked by the confrontations between France and England during the Hundred Years' War, provides an exceptional setting for the event.

Throughout the event, admission to the museum is free. Also on the program: a medieval market, demonstrations of crafts, meetings with authors and illustrators, exploration of encampments, street performances, costumed parades, and conferences.

Alternating between shows, tales, introductions to role-playing games, concerts, and fantastic tours, the festival has a lively rhythm. On Saturday evening, the program continues with a concert followed by a storytelling vigil.
