The creatures of Graville awaken
On the territory of Le Havre, the Abbey of Graville and its church from the late 11th century testify to the legacy of the Normans, a people of Europe.
To incorporate the site and the monument into the narrative of the Norman epic and highlight this little-known emblematic heritage, an immersive artistic installation offers a unique visiting experience. Its content, narrative, illustrated, animated, and sound-based, emphasizes the connection of the Abbey of Graville, established in the 12th century, with the dynasty founded by Guillaume Malet, Lord of Graville and a companion-in-arms of William the Conqueror.
Its content enhances the connection of the Abbey of Graville, created in the 12th century, with the dynasty founded by Guillaume Malet, Lord of Graville, who fought alongside William the Conqueror. It develops a renewed historical approach to the Abbey of Graville from the early Middle Ages until around 1500, the time of Admiral Louis Malet de Graville, whose heart is buried in the church.
This fixed immersive artistic device is projected as an introduction to the journey, within the chapter house of the Abbey of Graville.
