The Great Treasure Hunt “The Valley of Elle, a whole story... from William the Conqueror to the present day!” invites you to explore Norman history through a playful and educational journey in the heart of the Valley of Elle.

Spanning from Saint-Clair-sur-l’Elle to neighboring municipalities, this adventure leads participants in the footsteps of the events, characters, and places that have shaped the territory from the time of William the Conqueror to today. Throughout the journey, puzzles, challenges, and clues to discover lead to encounters with the local heritage: churches, manors, historic paths, valley landscapes, and remarkable sites.

Each stage highlights the history of Normandy, the evolution of villages over the centuries, and the links that unite the municipalities of the Valley of Elle. Between historical discovery, outdoor walks, and team spirit, this intergenerational activity showcases the rich cultural and heritage wealth of the territory while celebrating the Millennium of Normandy.

At the end of the journey, participants access a symbolic treasure, concluding an original immersion through a thousand years of Norman history.
