The National Tour of a New Play from RABBLE Theatre

A world shaped by invasion, migration and vain male leaders. And so was 1066.

In partnership with Normandy-based In Itinere Collective, RABBLE Theatre present a new play exploring the extraordinary story of William The Conqueror.

Packed with physicality, this ferocious production embraces parkour, music, combat and illusion to capture the overwhelm of a medieval existence. Written by Beth Flintoff (associate artist of RABBLE and London's Royal Court Theatre) in both English and French and directed by acclaimed associate artists Hal Chambers and Gareth Taylor (Ecole de Theatre Jacques Lecoq, Paris), the production champions female voices and explores the staggering relevance to today's world.
