Stone Carving Workshop

This introductory stone carving workshop allows participants to discover an ancestral craft at the heart of a religious building. Supervised by an experienced professional, it offers an immersion into the techniques and gestures that have accompanied stone work for centuries.

Through the handling of traditional tools and the discovery of the different stages of creation, everyone learns the principles of this artistic profession which is emblematic of built heritage. The experience highlights the skills, precision, and creativity necessary to transform the material and shape decorative or architectural elements.

Combining heritage discovery, hands-on practice, and creative expression, this workshop invites participants to explore the world of stone and the know-how that contributes to the conservation and transmission of historic monuments.
