Writers at Waterford Libraries offers free creative writing workshops for the local community, running every year since 2023.

In 2027, a dedicated series of workshops explores the European Year of the Normans, inviting participants to create their own written responses to this shared heritage.

Workshops take place both in person at Waterford library branches and online via a trusted digital platform. They are open to anyone living in the Waterford municipal area who is a member of the Waterford library service.
All sessions are led by experienced creative writing tutors with established publishing careers.
