Great popular and cultural meeting around the medieval theme!

On the occasion of Millennium, this highlight invites us to revisit medieval history through creation and collective participation. The costumes and creations freely reference William the Conqueror and, more broadly, the imagination of the Middle Ages.

In the lead-up, creation workshops – costumes, masks, floats, puppets – are offered at different sites around the city, in connection with numerous partners: associations, social centers, and educational institutions. This collective work feeds into a large festive procession that blends residents and visitors.

Giant puppets, floats, brass bands, and balloon structures accompany the route, designed as a popular and unifying moment in public space.
