The Archers of Vaudreuil

The Archers of Vaudreuil is a monumental work created by the artist Myriam Zouaghi-Maulet, in collaboration with young artists from the association L’Outil en Main – Saint-Cyr-le-Vaudreuil.

This painting depicts Guillaume and Mathilde and pays tribute to the crucial role of the archers of Vaudreuil, companions of William the Conqueror during the Battle of Hastings.

The exhibition is accompanied by activities and a conference dedicated to the creation and realization process of the work, providing artistic and technical insight into this collective project. An artist committed to transmission, Myriam Zouaghi-Maulet has been developing workshops and artistic projects in schools for over 15 years.
