Barony Festival

The Baronnie Festival is a must-see event in Douvres-la-Délivrande. It takes place every year in mid-September in the heart of the Domaine de la Baronnie, a historic site of medieval origin classified as a historical monument. Medieval camp and activities: sword fighting demonstrations, period crafts, archery, interactive workshops for children, and traditional wooden games. Local produce and artisan market: stalls from local producers, Norman products, handmade creations, and demonstrations of traditional crafts. Concerts and banquet: on-site catering spaces, refreshment stands, and musical entertainment (medieval music or folk/traditional concerts) that extend the day.
