Between Earth and Sea: the Norman Adventure

Meeting with Anglo-Norman and Sicilian neighbors

The Norman, Jerseyman, and Sicilian groups present a show of traditional dances and songs to celebrate the arrival of the Sicilian and Jerseyman delegations in Normandy.

This meeting highlights territories connected by history, particularly Normandy, the birthplace of the Norman kings of Sicily. It reveals the commonalities and differences between these cultures, which are fundamental components of their identities.
At the end of the performance, Norman dances open up a participative time in a friendly atmosphere. Exchanges with the groups also extend the meeting.

This creates a lively moment of cultural sharing, at the crossroads of Norman, Jerseyman, and Sicilian heritages.
