Between laughs and tournaments: games from the Middle Ages

Playful and participatory animations accompany the exhibition The Normans "through the threads" of time led by the Europe Inter Echanges association throughout the event.

A day is dedicated to a friendly tournament of wooden medieval games, organized indoors and outdoors, bringing together the delegations from the twin towns (Bedizzole in Italy, the Kreis of Uelzen in Germany, Luboń and Gostyń in Poland, Guibaré in Burkina Faso, as well as Granard in Ireland).

A monumental collective fresco is created using small colored diamonds of Lego-type. Open to all, it is proposed and animated by the Briques en folie association.
A drawing contest related to the general theme is organized with students from the local primary schools. Craftspeople specialized in wood, stone, and stained glass art are also present in outdoor tents for demonstrations and short animations.

The event brings together partner municipalities from the East Plateau of Rouen: Bonsecours, Le Mesnil-Esnard, Franqueville-Saint-Pierre, Ymare, Quévreville-la-Poterie, Gouy, Les Authieux-sur-le-Port-Saint-Ouen, La Neuville-Chant-d’Oisel, Mesnil-Raoul, Fresne-le-Plan, Montmain, Boos, and Belbeuf.
