Bugge Wesseltoft has long been shaping his own jazz languages through his various solo albums, group projects like New Conception of Jazz, OKWorld! and RYMDEN, and his collaborations with artists such as Sidsel Endresen, Henning Kraggerud, or Henrik Schwarz. His new album *Am Are* presents us with a constellation of remarkable musicians from all generations who explore sound textures, dynamic contrasts, ambiance, and style, oscillating between stripped-down arrangements and complex layers of dubs, loops, and improvisations, depicting a fluid landscape rich in nuance and resonance.
