Story of a saint and his reliquary: historical and artisanal encounters around Saint Céneri.

This popular event takes place over a weekend in August 2027 and marks the culmination of the restoration of the reliquary of Saint Céneri by gilding artist Héloïse Nice. On this occasion, the village becomes a place of discovery where heritage, know-how, and living history intersect.

Artisans showcase their crafts related to the Middle Ages and Normandy — illumination, tapestry, stone carving — while an exhibition retraces the history of Saint Céneri and the village.

The program is enriched with significant scientific and cultural moments: medieval historian Michel Pastoureau leads a conference-masterclass, and Tony Legendre gives a talk dedicated to the history of the relics of Saint Céneri.
The local heritage is also explored through guided tours of the village led by the tour guide Dominique Eudier. The highlight of the weekend is the restored reliquary being carried in procession through the streets to the chapel, where an outdoor mass is celebrated. In the church, a women's choir performs medieval songs, extending the immersion into the historical universe.

The event continues in a friendly atmosphere with a country picnic in the meadow of the chapel, while a local market highlights local producers and regional crafts.
