As part of the Wars and Peace Normandy season, the Comédie de Caen presents a strong and radical proposal that confronts us head-on with the state of Justice in France and Europe on a socially sensitive subject: the family.

Through the lens of law and legislation, Émilie Rousset closely examines the flaws and progress, the blind spots and victories at a time when the protection of children is a priority and family structures are being renewed.

In a bi-frontal setup enhanced with a screen, the performers share words collected from specialized lawyers and affected individuals. The experience is captivating thanks to a rhythmic montage that allows us to delve into the intricacies of laws, the intimacy of experiences, and their deeply political connection.
