The Medieval Banquet "The Feast of the Conqueror" is one of the highlights of the Medieval Festival in Domfront, recreating the atmosphere of a grand Norman court feast.

Accessible only by reservation, the event welcomes around 450 guests in the heart of Domfront-en-Poiraie. It offers an immersive experience combining medieval-inspired gastronomy, historical storytelling, and artistic creations.

The banquet is punctuated by continuous performances from professional troupes:
- a musical ambiance accompanies the various courses, recreating the sound universe of 11th-century banquets;
- court interludes punctuate the meal with skits, juggling, dance, and street theater, evoking life during the time of William the Conqueror;
- interaction with the guests enhances immersion, respecting the codes of medieval courtesy.

The menu highlights the flavors of the Middle Ages, relying on local products and characteristic spices such as cinnamon, ginger, or long pepper, while meeting current culinary standards. The service is provided by volunteers from the Medieval Festival.

The evening concludes with a fire show presented by a specialized troupe, featuring fire breathers, jugglers, and pyrotechnic apparatus manipulation.
