Millennium Edition

The festival Les Embarqués is a major cultural event supported by the Seine-Eure Agglomeration. It invests in public and natural spaces through a program of live performances blending theater, circus, dance, music, and visual arts, promoting encounters between artworks, residents, and the landscapes of the area.

It unfolds in ten stops in rural areas, in municipalities renewed each year, and concludes with a final weekend at the Léry-Poses park. In 2025, it gathered more than 18,000 spectators.

On the occasion of Millennium, the festival hosts at the Léry-Poses park a large participatory scenography inspired by the Bayeux Tapestry, conceived by four female visual artists. This creation takes the form of a collective and evolving work, co-constructed with the residents during workshops held in 2026 and 2027. Weaving, embroidery, ceramics, engraving, plant dyeing, molding, or linocut compose a sensitive landscape made of materials, textures, and colors.
This accumulation of gestures and experiences gives rise to an immersive and poetic creation, making minerals, plants, and organic materials converse. It pays tribute to the Bayeux Tapestry while situating Les Embarqués in a contemporary and vibrant celebration of Normandy.

The festival also welcomes several shows labeled Millenium, including Success'Story by the company Le Récigraphe and Tea Time by the company The Wood Sisters. More surprises are to come...
