William the Conqueror – Breteuil, from its history to its future

Breteuil honors its history through a historical, cultural, and popular event dedicated to the Duke of Normandy and Norman heritage.

This event offers an immersion from the Middle Ages to the present day, tracing the significant milestones that shape the city, its valley, the Iton, and its forced stream over the centuries.

Historical reenactments, shows, animations, crafts, demonstrations, and festive times punctuate this gathering.

Inhabitants, associations, merchants, schools, economic actors, and vital forces of the territory come together around a collective project that highlights the history and heritage of Breteuil.

Telling the story of Breteuil yesterday, bringing Breteuil to life today, and building the Breteuil of tomorrow.
