Hastings Collectible Coins

A series of commemorative coins dated 2026 is issued on the occasion of the anniversary of the Battle of Hastings. This set pays tribute to a major event in Norman history, designed as a milestone in a countdown to the Millennium. The reverse illustrates the battle through an iconic scene, while the obverse evokes the crowning of William at Westminster in a contemporary interpretation. The collection comes in several versions: gold, silver, and base metal.
