Hastings Norman Heritage Trail
Connecting historic sites to celebrate our Norman Heritage
The Hastings Norman Heritage Trail connects Hastings Station to the Castle, passing via the Town Hall, through the town centre, and along the seafront.
At the station, visitors find a map showing the full trail route. Along the way, banners designed by local artists celebrate the area’s Norman heritage. Each banner features a unique design and contributes to a shared theme.
The banners are displayed on lampposts, creating a continuous trail throughout the town. Each one includes a QR code that provides information about historic events and the wider Year of the Normans celebrations.
