The History of the Normans Told to Children: A European Perspective

The proposal put forward by Munaé combines exhibition, mediation, and digital promotion around the history of the Normans from a European perspective.

It compares the representations of this history through the collections of the National Museum of Education and those of partner institutions, particularly in Italy, the United Kingdom, and Denmark.

An outdoor exhibition, accessible to everyone, is set up in the immediate vicinity of the museum's exhibition center, on Rue Eau-de-Robec.

This initiative is complemented by a mediation program based on the museum's collections: visits to the reserves, workshops for young audiences, and a series of conferences. Finally, the digitization of the collections related to this theme allows for their dissemination on the regional platform of Norman museums as well as on the Joconde portal, enhancing the accessibility and sustainability of the resources.
