Go back in time and get up close to the action as rival knights compete in the ultimate test of strength and skill at the Framlingham Castle Knights’ Tournament.

Four armoured knights and their squires clash in a series of demanding contests. The tournament recreates the spectacle and intensity of medieval competitions, immersing visitors in the pageantry of the 13th or 15th century.

Visitors explore Framlingham Castle during their visit. The wall-top walk offers panoramic views over the castle defences and reveals over 800 years of history. Information panels highlight the surrounding landscape, including the market town, the outer earthworks, and the Mere. The castle’s towers feature distinctive Tudor chimneys, each displaying a unique brick design.
