Go back in time and get up close to the action as rival knights compete in the ultimate test of strength and skill at the Kenilworth Castle Knights’ Tournament.

Four armoured knights and their squires will clash in a variety of gruelling rounds. You’ll be transported back to the 15th century as you experience the pageantry and action of the fearsome tournaments of days gone by.  

During your visit explore the huge Norman keep, dating from the 1120s. Climb up to the queen’s apartments for fantastic views over the castle and surrounding countryside.

Explore the spectacular garden Dudley created just for his 1575 visit, including a Renaissance aviary, plant beds full of scent, colour and fruit, and an imposing fountain. Learn more about the castle's history and its people in the interactive exhibition.
