Laurent Gapaillard combines historical, artistic, and architectural elements, various memories to recreate and imagine new landscapes, new architectures, new shores.

A former student of the Met de Penninghen School (ESAG) and the Louvre School, this designer and visual artist began his career creating sets and graphic universes for feature films, animated films, and video games recognized for their visual quality. Passionate about history and fascinated by lost civilizations, he explores in his drawings the relationships between man and nature, bringing to life a lush urbanism shaped either by vegetation or geological forces.
