Linguistic and poetic workshop

A writing workshop explores the richness of languages through Viking words integrated into Norman French, maritime expressions, Cauchois patois, and influences from English or German from the twin towns. Each production takes the form of a "sound mosaic": poem, short fiction, or sensitive glossary, where linguistic and cultural echoes intersect. The workshop, led by Marceline Putnai, views writing as a space for transmission and relationships. It centers on the perception of otherness and the attention given to the connections woven between individuals. This approach invites participants to go beyond self-expression and open up to the narrative of the other, to explore unexpected voices, and to develop a sensitive, shared, and empathetic approach to creation.
