Voices and Traditional Stories Through the Millennium

The Conservatory of Évreux Portes de Normandie offers an exceptional performance within the Saint-Taurin church.

In this heritage setting, among ancient stones and sacred vaults, a living fresco unfolds, making a dialogue between works from the repertoire and contemporary creation around the epic of William the Conqueror.

The composer Jacques Petit presents an original creation inspired by Norman heritage, enriched with traditional songs and stories.

Supported by dance groups, symphonic orchestras, choirs, and all the artists from the Conservatory of Music and Dance of Évreux, the performance resonates with a thousand years of history and artistic creation.
