Living historical mediation between Normandy and England

On the occasion of Millennium, Norman reenactors cross the Channel to participate in the Medieval Pageant of Canterbury.

This project is led by the association La Hird de Hrolfr, dedicated to promoting Norman history and culture.
Over a weekend, French and English participants offer an immersion into 11th-century ducal Normandy through demonstrations of craftsmanship, costume parades, and the recreation of a campsite.

The event highlights the shared history between Normandy and Kent, providing a vibrant dive into the exchanges and shared legacies between the two regions.
Open to all audiences, this event invites a concrete and immersive exploration of a foundational page in Norman and European history.
