by Fabrice Bligoud-Vestad

Fabrice Bligoud Vestad presents a concert featuring the works of Edvard Grieg and Agathe Backer Grondahl, Norwegian composers from the second half of the 19th century, and David Monrad Johansen, a Norwegian composer from the early 20th century.

This young French-Norwegian concert pianist trained at the conservatory of his hometown, Hamar, with Ivan Ivantchev, as well as at the Norwegian National Academy of Music in Oslo, where he was part of the young talents program. He chose to pursue his higher education in Paris, thus responding to his passion for French music. He is a laureate of several competitions and awards, including the 1st Prize at the Steinway competition and the Drømmetreffet prize awarded to the most promising young artistic talent in Norway. He performs throughout Europe as a soloist or in chamber ensembles and has refined his skills with renowned pianists such as Leif Ove Andsnes, Milena Mollova, Einar Steen-Nøkleberg, and Alexei Lubimov. Fabrice is the founder and artistic director of the Hamar Chamber Music Festival, whose first edition took place in 2024.
