A historical treasure hunt through the city of Caen

This treasure hunt immerses participants in the time of William the Conqueror and outlines the key steps of his rise to power.

The adventure explores the journey of the young Duke of Normandy, his choice to establish his capital in Caen, and the reasons that lead him, after consolidating his power, to embark on the conquest of England.
The investigation continues in the historic center of Caen, searching for clues and architectural details hidden throughout the streets. These discoveries allow participants to find a secret envelope containing strategic information passed on by the duke's spies. Participants analyze the ambitions of the various claimants to the English throne, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of their adversaries.

Based on this information, each team formulates its own strategy before reliving the significant moments of the conquest through a series of playful and interactive challenges. A unique way to discover the history of William the Conqueror and the Norman legacy at the heart of the city of Caen.
