Sound and Light

This sound and light project retraces the major milestones of local and regional history, from the origins of Bolbec to the spiritual role of Sainte Geneviève, through the rise of Normandy and the figure of William the Conqueror, up to the transmission of this memory today.

The visual creation is carried out by the technicians of the association L’Art en Cavale, in close collaboration with the participants.

At the heart of the project, the students actively engage in all stages of production: divided into groups, they design the sets, props, and costumes, and also participate in a casting for the recording of the voices for the soundtrack, produced in partnership with the MJC de Bolbec.

Both educational and civic, and rooted in the territory, the project encourages cooperation between schools, associations, and residents, while showcasing local heritage and Norman identity.

The show takes the form of an immersive nighttime creation, blending historical narration, monumental projections, original music, light effects, and the stage presence of 150 extras.
