Stitch for Change: Patchwork Storytelling Tapestry Project

This community-led patchwork and storytelling project reimagines Norman heritage through the voices and experiences of global majority, refugee, and migrant communities.

As part of The Refugee Buddy Project’s annual Stitch for Change programme, participants—including refugees, people seeking asylum, migrants, and local residents—collaborate to create a contemporary textile artwork inspired by the Bayeux Tapestry. The project explores themes of migration, resilience, identity, and belonging through a global lens.
