Trail the Mora

from 19 June 2027

to 20 June 2027

Race organized as part of La Barjo 2027, Coeur d'enfant association

The Mora 2026 is a 120 km trail connecting the port of Barfleur to Beaumont-Hague.

The start takes place at night, in a setting inspired by the story of William the Conqueror.

The course features a positive elevation gain of 2,010 meters and is aimed at experienced runners who are capable of moving autonomously and managing a technical route through the landscapes of Cotentin.
The event adopts an eco-responsible format.

The route is followed exclusively via a GPX track, without physical marking, which requires the use of a GPS navigation system. Safety is ensured by real-time individual tracking through a GPS beacon, the presence of specialized teams, and several mandatory checkpoints.

The finish line is located in Beaumont-Hague, after a varied crossing that requires stringent management of effort, orientation, and resources.

The organization only provides water at designated checkpoints. Each participant can drop off a personal bag at a designated checkpoint, with the remainder of the course being conducted in food and logistical autonomy in order to limit environmental impact.
