On the trail of the Norman conquerors

Normans and Sicilians of yesterday, Europeans of today

Organized by the Folklore Federation of Normandy, this event brings together Norman and Sicilian groups around a show featuring traditional dances and songs.

The creation celebrates the symbolic return of Sicilians to their lands of origin, Normandy, the cradle of the Norman kings of Sicily. It juxtaposes two cultures linked by history, revealing both their resonances and their singularities, which constitute their respective identities.

At the end of the performance, Norman dances invite collective participation in a friendly atmosphere. There will also be opportunities for exchanges to extend the meeting between artists and the audience.
