URBAN TRAIL: from Guillaume to today

from 02 May 2027

to 03 May 2027

Sports immersion through the different eras that have marked the city of Falaise

The event highlights the historical heritage of Falaise, particularly showcasing the castle of William the Conqueror, the ramparts, and the churches. It aims to attract residents and visitors with an original offering, while promoting sports practice and well-being, and contributing to the dynamism of the local economy.

Organized in a semi-night format from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, it offers several routes with distances yet to be confirmed: approximately a 5 km walk and races of 10 km and 20 km. The routes are designed to start and finish at the Fresnaye park, located in front of the castle of the same name. They prioritize the flow of participants, avoid congested areas at the beginning of the route, and rely on sites that allow distinct entrances and exits to facilitate circulation.

The proposed capacity for this first edition is set at a global goal of 1500 participants, to be confirmed, evenly distributed among the formats: 500 people for the 5 km walk, 500 runners for the 10 km race, and 500 runners for the 20 km race.

Practical information:

Open to the public - from 15 years old
Paid: between €15 and €25
