From Vikings to Conquerors

Gymnasts from Bolbec take on Europe.

The Bolbec Gymnastic Circle is organizing an end-of-year gala bringing together practitioners of beginner and intermediate levels around an original choreographic and gymnastic creation.

The show is based on a historical theme dedicated to the territories marked by the conquests of William the Conqueror and the connections he helps to weave on a European scale.
The gala is structured into several tableaux inspired by different countries and regions associated with this history (England, Denmark, Ireland, Southern Italy, Norway…), each carried by its own musical, aesthetic, and choreographic universe.
Each tableau incorporates dance and body expression to represent the cultures mentioned and to enhance the audience's immersion. The performance thus offers an artistic and accessible approach to a part of Norman and European history.

Participants present performances combining several disciplines: urban gymnastics, apparatus gymnastics, acrobatic gymnastics, and adapted practices (APA). This diversity allows for the inclusion of various audiences within a collective project that highlights everyone's abilities and commitment.

Beyond its artistic and sporting dimension, this gala promotes sharing, cooperation, and cultural discovery through a common creation valued during an event open to the public.
