Erik, son of the queen of Northumbria and the Viking chief Ragnar, grows up among slaves. Without knowing their blood link, he becomes the sworn enemy of Einar, Ragnar's legitimate son. Their rivalry escalates into a violent struggle, soon disrupted by the arrival of Morgane, a captive English princess promised to Einar but in love with Erik.

Passions, revenge, and grand landscapes compose this epic fresco, magnified by the music of the Norwegian composer Martin Romberg, offering an intense rediscovery of this classic adventure film.
