CRAHA Seminar, "Medieval Nordic and Norman Worlds"

The Michel de Boüard Center – CRAHAM (UMR 6273) of the University of Caen Normandy and the Centro Europeo di Studi Normanni (Italy) are collaborating to organize a research seminar following the international scientific conference in Ariano Irpino.

Hosted at the University of Caen, this seminar is aimed at members of CRAHAM, students of the Master's program in "History", as well as researchers and students interested in the history of law, history, and ancient literatures, both English and Italian.

It proposes to revisit the main scientific contributions of the conference and to put them into perspective with current international research dedicated to medieval Nordic and Norman worlds.

In 2027, these themes are particularly highlighted in Normandy and internationally, with several major events, notably in Rouen in March, in Cerisy-la-Salle in June, and during the Battle Conference in July.

The seminar also offers the opportunity to open new avenues of reflection and research, particularly for the young researchers participating in it.

Co-organized by Pierre Bauduin, Alban Gautier, Ortensio Zecchino, and Marie-Agnès Lucas-Avenel
