The Battle of Flowers Parades 2027 welcomes twinning associations from Normandy for a special celebration of shared heritage during the Millennium year.

The parades feature floats adorned with flowers, created in collaboration with partners from Normandy. These designs highlight close historical ties and a shared cultural identity. Collaboration lies at the heart of each float, combining ideas, skills and traditions from both sides of the Channel.

The creative process brings together floral decoration, artistic concepts and craftsmanship in a joint act of celebration and remembrance. Each display reflects the spirit of partnership that defines the Millennium programme.

These shared projects strengthen contemporary relationships between communities and show how historical connections continue to inspire creativity, cooperation and mutual understanding today.
