The Battle of Hastings in PLAYMOBIL®

A recreation of the Battle of Hastings in PLAYMOBIL®

This entertaining, colourful, and accessible interpretation of the Battle of Hastings uses PLAYMOBIL® figures. Created by history enthusiast and PLAYMOBIL® fan Jean Paul Turquois, the display brings key moments of the battle to life through the use of these much-loved and internationally recognised toys. It combines historical research with hundreds of PLAYMOBIL® figures to tell the story of the battle in a way that engages children of all ages.

Guernsey Museums & Galleries and Jersey Heritage collaborate on additional timelines of the Norman era and interpretation panels, enriching the experience and offering further context that also engages adult audiences.
